SERVICE & REFUND POLICY
Last updated September 10, 2026
Jersey Brother Batteries provides mobile vehicle battery delivery, installation, testing, and jump-start assistance across New York and New Jersey. This policy explains how estimates, dispatch, cancellations, refunds, warranties, and advertised offers are handled. Specific terms given to you before service take priority if they are more favorable or more specific.
1. Estimates & Pricing
We aim to provide the price or a reasonable estimate before dispatch whenever the vehicle and service details are known.
- Pricing can vary by vehicle, battery size and chemistry, battery availability, location, access conditions, taxes, and the service requested.
- If the technician discovers that the vehicle requires a different battery, additional work, or a different service than originally described, we will explain the change and obtain your approval before charging for additional work.
- Any advertised starting price, discount, or promotion applies only to the conditions stated with that offer.
You may ask for a price breakdown before authorizing service.
2. Dispatch & Cancellations
Dispatch and arrival times are estimates. Traffic, weather, battery availability, parking access, road conditions, and prior emergency calls can affect arrival time.
You may cancel a request before service is completed. If a technician has already been dispatched, a trip or service-call charge may apply only when that charge was disclosed to you before dispatch or otherwise agreed to by you. If no such charge was disclosed or agreed, we will not add one solely because you cancelled.
If we need to cancel because we cannot safely reach the vehicle, cannot source the required battery, or cannot perform the requested work, you will not be charged for unperformed parts or labor.
3. Refunds & Battery Warranty
Completed labor and diagnostic services are generally not refundable once properly performed. If we made a billing error or failed to perform an authorized service as represented, contact us so we can review and correct the issue.
Battery warranty coverage depends on the battery brand and model installed. When a manufacturer warranty applies, its duration, exclusions, testing requirements, and replacement terms control. Ask for the applicable warranty details at the time of purchase and keep your receipt or service record.
A battery that later tests defective may be handled through the applicable manufacturer or supplier warranty rather than a cash refund. Damage caused by vehicle charging-system faults, parasitic drains, improper use, collision, modification, or other non-battery causes may not be covered.
4. Service Limitations
Battery replacement or a jump start may not correct a no-start or electrical problem caused by the starter, alternator, wiring, immobilizer, modules, fuel system, mechanical failure, or another vehicle fault.
A successful jump start does not guarantee that the vehicle will restart later or remain running. We may decline work when conditions are unsafe, the vehicle is inaccessible, the requested procedure is outside the service we offer, or the work could reasonably damage the vehicle.
Any coding, registration, memory retention, or system reset that may be needed after battery replacement depends on the vehicle and available equipment. We will explain applicable work before it is added to the service.
5. Customer Responsibilities
To help us provide the correct service, please give accurate vehicle year, make, model, location, and symptom information and tell us about relevant modifications or access restrictions.
You must have permission to authorize work on the vehicle and provide lawful, reasonably safe access to it. You are responsible for personal property left in or around the vehicle and for following any parking-facility rules.
6. Promotions & Advertising
We intend our advertisements and website to describe our business and services accurately. We do not claim affiliation with a vehicle manufacturer, dealership, roadside-assistance program, or government agency unless that relationship is expressly stated.
Promotions may have vehicle, location, time, inventory, or service limitations. Material conditions will be stated with the offer or explained before you authorize service. If an advertisement and a final quote appear inconsistent, ask us to clarify before dispatch.
