PRIVACY POLICY

Jersey Brother Batteries (“we,” “us”) runs this website to take service requests for mobile battery delivery and installation across New York and New Jersey. This page explains what we collect, why, and how to opt out — including information used for Google Ads. It is a description of our practices, not legal advice.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
When you submit a quote request, call, or text us, we collect what you send, which may include:
- Name
- Phone number
- The address, cross streets, or ZIP where the car is parked
- Vehicle year, make, and model
- The issue you describe and any notes (gate code, garage level)
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site we may collect:
- IP address and approximate general location
- Browser, device type, and operating system
- Pages viewed, time on site, and the site that referred you
- Clicks on Call or Text, and whether a quote form was submitted
- Advertising identifiers such as Google Click ID (gclid) and UTM campaign tags, stored in your browser so we can credit the ad that sent you here
Information from advertising partners
If you arrive from a Google Ad, Google may provide limited data about that visit so we can measure the campaign.
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
2. How We Use It
We use this information to:
- Respond to your request — calling or texting you back and dispatching a technician
- Operate, maintain, and secure the website
- Measure Google Ads performance, including whether a form submit or phone tap came from an ad
- Meet legal and accounting obligations
Quote forms on the live site are processed by Netlify Forms so our dispatch team can read the request. A copy may also stay in your browser on that device.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share limited advertising data with Google as described below — some privacy laws call that “sharing.” You can opt out at any time (see Your Rights).
4. Third-Party Services
We use Google Ads, including conversion tracking, to measure and improve advertising. Google may set cookies that allow it and its partners to show ads based on your visit here. Google’s handling of that data is described in the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
Form submissions on the hosted site are processed by Netlify. See Netlify’s privacy policy.
We are not responsible for how Google, Netlify, or other providers handle data once it is in their systems.
5. Your Rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it for advertising — see Contact below.
California (CCPA/CPRA). You may request to know, delete, or correct personal information, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” for advertising. We do not sell information for money. To opt out of ad sharing, use Google Ads Settings or call us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
EU, UK, or Switzerland (GDPR). You may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or receive a copy of your data, and to object to processing. We process quote details to respond to your request, and advertising cookies based on our legitimate interest in measuring ads or on consent where required.
We respond to reasonable requests at no charge, within a reasonable time.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this page when our practices or the law change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Check back periodically.
